Abstract

In this short writing I tried to describe my all-life positive experience with the University of Chemical Technology (UCT) Prague, starting from the student age till now, my adult age. At UCT, I met many amazing people not only when I was a student but especially as a researcher and an academic person. I am very grateful for all collaborations with them: firstly in the field of estimation of various physico-chemical properties of chemical compounds, which lasted for 20 years, and then in the field of preparation and characterization of nanostructured materials for many applications which has been continuing last 15 years.
